Finally someone has designed a replacement +3 follower for the P22 Pistol and G22 Rifle, which will allow you to fit a extra 3 rounds into the magazine for a total of 13 rounds.
I have about 900 rounds through one magazine using the follower, and experienced no problems what so ever. According the manufacturer, the plastic used for these followers is about 1.5 times stronger then the original Walther part.
The only downside to these followers is that the design is unable to incorporate the magazine button (due to it's small size). That means on the P22 you lose the slide hold-open on the last round, but so far, no one I've involved in the testing has seemed to mind.
